Mid-Century Room Divider
This wall divider was designed by Czech architect Ludvik Volak and was manufactured by Drevopodnik Holesov, Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. It was manufactured for a limited 5 year production in the former Thonet factory and represents their greatest traditional technique of bentwood. This is the rare version featuring feet and curved corners in its original condition.
A typical Mid-Century Modern piece with geometric patterns in bent beechwood. It can be used as a plant stand, a room divider, as wall shelving or simply as a sculptural piece of decoration.
In good condition with age related wear. The panel retains the original label.
Dimensions: 91w 28d x 227h cm
