This Bjørn Wiinblad 'May’ Plate is a collector’s item designed in the 1950s / 60s, produced by Nymølle Denmark.
Wiinblad was a Danish designer whose work is displayed in museums around the world.
This is one of a series of twelve plaques, each month depicting a different illustration, telling a story over a year about a couple who fall in love and have a baby. It comes with a hole at the top for wall hanging.
This would make an especially lovely birthday gift.
