Pair of Linden Armchairs by G.A.Jenkins
A stunning and rare pair of beech bent ply "Linden" arm chairs designed in 1948 by G.A Jenkins for Packet Furniture of Great Yarmouth as part of their Tecta range. This model is usually attributed to Eric Lyons who also designed for Packet.
This model is featured in the V&A Museum, London. "This chair dates from the end of the utility period and and demonstrates awareness of the flowing lines of much contemporary continental furniture, particularly Scandinavian and Italian." V&A Museum.
Stamped to underside of arm.
